Was wondering what people thought of the new Vango canopy with a zip door to it? Also, knowing nothing about canopies ( but would like one!!) does it fit on the side or 'tunnel end' of the tent?

It says in the blurb that it is compatible with the new icarus and tigris. Now to me the tigris looks like a revamp of last year's yukon, (liked the look of those but thought there might be problems with the skylights!!) and not unsimilar to our old Vango vista 600, so I was wondering if it might then fit on that.......

Any advice gratefully recieved!

I was speaking to the Vango rep at the secc last weekend and she tells me the canopy goes on the side of the tent, although i didnt see it up i think it looks great. Also you are correct the tigris is the new version of the yukon.

Thanks guys. Have been doing more research and found that there are two versions, one for a tunnel tent and one that looks like it fits over a porch ?? The tunnel version seems to be sold out in the places I found it - typical, I was getting all excited, I think it looks great too !! and more useable than just a canopy. I'll keep looking.

As it's new this year its probably not come in yet, rather than already sold out, maybe you could phone and pre order one. I think it will be a popular one, its like the khyam sun porch and they were very hard to get last year.

world of tents have the new style in stock but I could not tell if it fits a tunnel or porch. Sorry still learning about camping and all the equipment that goes with it.
