Hi Rex.
I notice in the Ten Cate blurb, that they say the "All Season" tent fabric PVA fibres are like Cotton, but only detail the absortion qualities so this must be the likeness to Cotton me thinks, with no mention of "breathing" they do mention "breathing" when detailing Ten Cate Cotton, so "breathing" is a term that they use, I am most interested to find out if the Cabanon "All Season Polyester" is the Ten Cate product or not, although a former Cabanon dealer last year told me that the Cabanon "All Season Polyester" was not Ten Cate, that comment has confused me ever since, as another dealer told me the opposite. I am also wondering now if the Outwell Outex Airtex (Polycotton) which again could be a Ten Cate product possibly the "Ten Cate Solair" if this is the case then the Outwell product may outperform the Cabanon product in respect of "Breathing", I know this is all theorising, but I feel we are getting closer to finding out what is what.

Hi emma1305.
Firstly well done on getting that "Biscaya Quality Cotton", I remember you said you had put a deposit down on it, some time back, I think this is realy funny, and will definatley bring a smile to Rex's face, as he also has had dealings with Highbridge, anyway my story goes likes this, the tent you have got is the one I was going to buy last September, I called in on my way back from Hampshire, they were not the least interested that I had travelled from North Manchester via Hampshire to get to thier shop, anyway I had a copy of the tent info from thier website, and said I would like to buy the "2007 Biscaya Quality Cotton", they said they had just the one left, the price then was £819, but the info on the Highbridge website said it was SiG, I challenged this, as my thoughts were that it could be ZiG, anyway they pulled out of the draw a 2007 catalogue, and pointed out that it said, the "Biscaya Quality Cotton" was SiG, so that was that, they did not even bother to go and look at the tent, surley being in three bags would have confirmed that it was in actual fact ZiG, anyway, less than a month later, I got mine from Caterrick Caravans in Yorkhire, and saved myself £120 on the Highbridge price, I hope you got a good deal on what was almost my tent, the Highbridge price had dropped to £802 at the start of this year I noticed, so that is my Highbridge story, as for your "Biscaya Quality Cotton" have you pitched it yet, if not I would do so as soon as possible, paying particular attention to the bedroom securing points in the ZiG, I am sure everything is fine, but it is always worth checking out a new tent before you go camping, I am sure you know this, and don't need me to tell you, but with you buying the tent in winter I was thinking that you may not have had the opportunity to do a test pitch.

Hi Emma.
Well I think we both got a bargain, considering that the best dealer price I have seen for 2009 is around £1200 and the RRP apears to be close on £1400! there is somthing that is quite special about that "Quality Cotton" canvas, glad you have done a test pitch, it is a very good size tent and has a real solid feel to it, did you get the Sun Canopy?, I believe they have a RRP of £118 now, don't forget that I have that spare "All Season Polyester", version, although to be honest you ought to get the "Quality Cotton" model, just to keep everything matching, like you we can't wait to do our first camp in it, wasn't going to do Easter but all the weather folk keep saying it is going to be good.
Andy.
