I saw one a couple or so weeks ago. I must say that I didn't pay it too much attention. It's evidently got elements of the Outwell Nevada M but, because of the fixed shape of the pole in the side canopy, it doesn't put strain on the material or zip around the door that the Nevada and Minnesota do.
I'm pleased to note that what they call a 4-berth is in actual fact a 4-berth, i.e. 140cm per double pod. (The total width of the two rooms of the 400 is wider than the Orchy 500!!!)
I still prefer the steel-pole structure of the Minnesota, but you pay for it.

Hi there, we have just brought the Tigris 800. We had been looking for a new tent over the winter months and liked the look of this one (it was between this and the Khyam Ontario 8). We went to the NEC show and saw it up (and the Ontario) and it confirmed all that we liked about the Tigris. We have managed to put it up in the garden to check it and are very pleased with it. We got a really good deal from Camping International, the tent, footprint groundsheet and carpet for £289. While at the show, in the tent was a family who had the previous model to this and gave it good reports. We are now hoping to buy the extension for it. We had a Hartford XL before, but, although a lovely tent, took alot of putting up, and with the canopy needed a big pitch space, and we do alot of smaller breaks so was using our smaller tent more, but this was geting a bit small for us, so have replaced the two tents for this one (hopefully!).
Any more questions, please do ask.

I saw this tent up on Saturday and until then had been looking at the Vango Icarus 500 but the Tigris is bigger and has a better Hydrostatic Head and am now planning to buy it - liked what I saw and ticked all my boxes for a weekend tent or a tent for just me and the dog when I leave the children behind.as I reckoned I should be able to pitch it solo.

Thanks for all the replys managed to see both the Tigris and the Icarus up at Springfield Camping(great shop). Liked the icurus but the Tigris just felt that bit more "solid" (sturdier poles etc) so will probably go for that
once again thanks for the replies
