Has anyone seen or bought an extension for the Iowa. We bought our Iowa as an emergency last summer when we were camping in Cornwall and the wind killed our old tent. We are very happy with our Iowa but were suprised when Outwell brought out the extension in green instead of blue. Also the starting price of £125 was well over the top dont you think when other bigger extensions are priced well under £100?

Ive just pitched the Iowa canopy and if you have the iowa i would say you will like the canopy. Yes at £100 its not cheap but it has a metal frame against some side canopies that have a glass fibre frame and it covers most of the top of the tent. There are a number of side canopies that will fit and if you have the blue one from last year you might like to try the Vango side canopy in Smoke blue, it normally fits tents like the Vango Tigris 600-800 but would match up pretty well to the blue iowa.

I have bought the universal canopy. Its really smart. I have found it a bit of a pain to erect in terms of getting the tension pegs in but I am a real novice, but it is really light and bright when up. Sadly I think I may have to sell it as it doesnt seem to fit out outwell oregon 5- I think our tent is too small/wrong shape. Am going to go to the tent show when it comes round in a couple of weeks to see if I am missing anything!

Hi, I own last year's model as well, and would have liked the extension. But I notice in your photo,you have used a Euro Camp version? Any idea where I can get one from, exact model etc, as it looks a good fit.

Also, do you know if they did a carpet last year fro the Iowa 2008 model (blue), as I wouldnt mind tracking one down.

What do you clip the ropes to on the other side of the tent - instructions are patchy and they say to clip to the poles buy the clips don't fit the poles?
