Hi, as spares for when we take away our new Ontario 8 this year I purchased 2x packs of 5 Vango 12.7mm (13mm) poles with shock cord and threader for £8.50 per pack of 5.
These are readily available on the net or retail. You simply cut them to fit as they are longer than the longest poles on the Ontario.
They come with instructions but basically cut with a junior hacksaw, de-bur with some fine sandpaper and run the shock cord through.
I plan on cutting them to the (three)sizes of poles our Ontario has ready for emergencies before we leave.
Alternatively try calling Khyam themselves or look to see if their spares parts page is live yet on their site.
The Vango poles are almost certainly cheaper though.

Planned for next year, hopefully!

Crantock, August. Fouth year with the fantastic Quechua Base Seconds 4.2!
..... and the odd night wild camping in my Argos 1 man tent...

Yeah, bit daft isn't it? Khyam need to get their act together on after sales. Shouldn't need to buy poles from other manufacturers should we?

I contacted them last August regarding a replacement pole. They replied mid september asking for info which as the maker they really should have known. I gave them the sizes they needed and have heard nothing since.
Mind you world of camping where I bought the tent haven't been much better. they asked for the same info and despite me sending twice they always ask for the info again when i email again after getting no response.

The poles on my Ontario split in the May bank holiday winds and I took them to a camping shop at Stowmarket, it was called Turners and the tel no is 01449 675511 and the chap there rethreaded them all and everything whilst I waited - he actually had the proper spare khyam poles in stock. Don't think he has a website but was really helpful when I went in.
When one of our poles split, on the Kyham and the Vango tents we have, we took them to Go Outdoors and they repaired them for free - they said that they use the poles which have been on the display models. Really good of them seeing that we didn't buy the tents from them.

That really is exceptionally good service there!
