I've got no experience of this tent, but looking at it in the Outwell catalogue, it looks a nice tent for two people, but a bit of a squash for three. Hopefully now that I've bumped your post to the top, someone with knowledge will answer you

I've just bought an Outwell Carolina 3 today.

I hope to be able to use it next week. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

p.s. I too camp solo most of the time.

I bought my Outwell Carolina 3 from the camping shop at Grosvenor Garden Centre, Nr Chester.

I spent weeks looking at many tents on the internet but I needed to make sure that all my requirement boxes were ticked. The only way to do that is to get to see the tent pitched up.

Every one of my tent options seemed to be a compromise of some sort, the Outwell Carolina 3 had less compromises than my other favourite choices.

Having had a look at the long range weather forecast, I may not be using the tent for a week or two.
