anyone advise as to the flaps - do they go in or out when pegging also there are a few ( what looks like ) loops sewn onto the flaps - what for ? / otherwise apart from the "army" green and no sewn in groundsheet this tent FAB1.

Hi , if they are elastic loops they are for pegging down . If these loops are on the inside of the flysheet, the flaps will peg outside. If the elastic loops are outside the flaps peg inside. It doesnt really matter either way , peg it so that you get the best draught proofing you can.

Without seeing them Id guess they were pegging points , if they are on the corners.
