hi Guys
Sorry for butting in straight off the bat as Im a new member but I noticed some guys are having probs with folding up the Swift 300 I have one and I agree the instructions are poo
It would be nice if it folded as smoothly as it unfolded Swift didnt spring to mind when I started using it but I have found for me the best way is once the first twist is completed kneel on the edge were the elastic loop strap is then make sure all the loose material is tucked in all round, now put the second twist in along the elonggated (surfboard as they call it) axis. I put a foot on one end of the "surfboard" shape this leaves one free hand while I attempt the twist Im sure you find the same as me it tends to refuse to be completed this is caused by the circular ring (the none "surfboard" part) going out instead of in, if with the free hand you push this in towards the centre it will pop inside complete the twist and the the whole thing will concertina down into the correct shape for pulling the elastic loop round then fitting it all back in the bag.
Sorry if its not as clear on how I do it as someone a bit more literate could do but if you try it I hope it will help as to begin with I (like many others) looked like I was wrestling a python and it took ages before I found out how to folder fairly easily
I bought this tent this afternoon and it popped out perfect - but then like all of you had a battle to get back in - almost ended in divorce lol ;-)
Anyway took it back to Go outdoors and the very nice man did it straight away, but was still confused, til I came on here and with the help of you gi=uys and clever instructions, i'm sure tomorrow ( weather permitting of course) Hubby & I will have another go - argument free ;-)
