I like the video, makes me realise that there is little difference in useable space between the indian lake and my baby frame tent......big difference in price and storage size though!
Not for me I'm afraid!

IMO,its very quirky and eye catching, but not a very practical design and size when it comes to setting up your equipment etc.
But as they say each to their own.
£650 though..........

It is very expensive. You could get a nice canvas tipi and a good sized tarp for about half that amount of money. With this tent you would need a tarp or a kitchen tent or summat anyway.
I like tipis but I wouldn't buy this one. Somehow it just doesn't work for me as it feels like Outwell have taken a classic ancient design and then "Outwelled" all the charm and character from it.
Oh you guys! Nice post Liddenham!
Well you are all talking complete sense, it is ridiculously priced and probably not the most practical but it is still sooooo sexy (in my screwed up brain anyway). Other half doesnt seem to have the same total admiration of one as I do so I may be on a loser here but I just love the practical zip in groundsheet and general romantic feel about it. The problem with most tipi type tents is the fact they dont have a SIG and because I am a complete wimp camper who screams like I have been bitten by Dracula if I see a spider this tent is safe from bugs and attractive (again I am aware beauty is in the eye of the beholder). I think if we were to pitch up next to one of these at a site I may have to be prized off it by the police when it came home time.
Ohhhhh does anyone love it like me?
But seeing it at the NEC changed my mind. It's just so dark inside. Having ample headroom is nice, but the height of this is just crackers! Does not feel cozy inside.
Anyway, if you like it that's all that matters!
