evening all! Tonight i am garden camping with the little un in our new quechua Base with bedroom inner. Its a great set up so far and looks handy for quick trips away.
to those that have used the bedroom inner can you tell me if it can be left in place when folding base or does it have to be removed and refitted each time?
there are also 2 hooks either side of the base doors which i have yet to work out a use for? Can someone enlighten me?
thanks folks!

Not put ours up since last summer, but we did put it away with the inner in although it was a struggle to get the bag closed. I can't remember what the hooks were for, I think we wondered about them as well.
Sorry you didn't get a reply last night, hope you had a lovely night!
Thanks Andi. We had a great nights sleep, despite daughter waking me up at 4.30 because she was cold - thats whats comes from throwing off ya covers and insisting on sleeping in a tshirt child!!! once sorted we both slept comfotable till gone 7am.
Have taken out the bedroom for now as i was interested in seeing how easy it would be, if the weather turned bad, to unhook and rol back the bed pod so you can use it for day shelter - pretty easy tis the answer - i would probebly stow in car boot but you could if just leave hooked at very back and roll into back of tent if needs be.
Now I am just facing the "folding back in bag fun" thought i had it nailed first time as i got it folded into a circle, but it was too big for the bag and would not go any smaller so off to watch the video a few times now before i provide more entertainment for the neighbours
If you grab one corner and 'walk it through' to the opposite diagonal corner, you can then bring the sides in and make it flat.
Lay it on the ground and stand at what would be the top.
Grab the top and twist it round then lay down over the bottom half that's still on the floor.
The last bit is the trickiest bit cause it always pops back at me, I tend to kneel on the top bit that I folded over then twist each 'wing' and fold in, shove that one under my knees then do the other side.
Eek, it's not easy to give instructions in writing!!

Thanks Andi, after watching the youtube video (as opposed to the one on the quechua site) I got it sorted straight away. Although your descriptions sounds differant to their technique as i didnt twist it at all.
just got one last week so takin your advise and goin to put it up and down in garden also got ghe inner as well my mate can sleep in it when we go golden sunset

Getting it away certainly has a knack - but once youve got the knack IMHO you can't beat these tents - have the base seconds and have now ordered the base 4.2!
