Hi All!

Need some advice please, im looking at buying a Sunncamp Evo 400 or the Vango Tigris400/Orchy500. Which would be the best tent to have or is there any other alternatives you'd recommend? Have read the tent reviews, but both seem very highly rated.

Its for two of us plus all our gear! Happy to pay <£200.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't believe this - I was just going to ask the same question!!!!!!

Hubby and I went looking at tents at Go Outdoors this morning and these were the two makes we are most interested in. I too have read the reviews, but I have noticed that Vango seems to get very mixed reviews, some love them, but others find the quality of the tents unreliable.

Does anyone have any views on the build quality of vango tents?

hi I have the Evo400 and its a nice tent but have now just bought the Tigris400 and find it far more pratical. There is a lot more usable space in the Tigris and (to me anyway!) alot easier to erect. if you have any further questions just ask

Today we found a nearby shop that is selling last seasons Evo400 but it is possibly ex display.

Is there anything in particular to look out for apart from the general wear and tear?

Have bought the Evo 400 today and put it up. Just wondering what the 2 velcro loops are next to the left hand door (looking from the sleeping area)?  Are they for an accessory, and if so, what?

Hopefully going to try it out on the Bank Holiday weekend!

We don't have EHU though! Oh well, it'll come in handy for something.
