The hunt for the perfect small/medium-sized stand-up tent with large bedroom continues...
We had a good time last week checking out the displays at Go Outdoors. We loved the Outwell Nevada M but unfortunateley the bedroom would not take our 2 single inflatable mattresses side by side. I tried to convince my other half that I could "customise" the part that separates the 2 bedroom areas to create one large area, but he is not keen on this idea as it would render the guarantee void.
All the Outwells are great - what a shame the bedroom sizes seem to be limited in size until you get up to the 9-berthers.
The Vango Venture 500 ticked lots of boxes for us, but it's a bit basic and un-lovely - we'd rather something with a higher spec, i.e. higher HH and a bit more windows & light.
They didn't have a Vango Orchy 500 set up, but say they will have this weekend. I have a feeling this is going to be as close as we'll get to what we want....
...UNLESS there are some others out there that we haven't thought of/heard of or seen?
Any suggestions? It's got to be:
1. pitch outer first
2. bedroom MINIMUM dimension 215x200 and that's if the side wall isn't too steep (must fit 190x180x20 inflatable mattress without pushing the inner against the outer)
3. separate living area ideally with sewn-in/bathtub groundsheet (hubby will compromise on this but I'm not keen)
4. ideally well under 20kg, but could compromise on this for perfection in other respects
Thanks muchly!

Just bought a Sunncamp Evolution 400 which goes in that description. Also we compared the Vango Tigris. Don't know if you've seen either, i think you will have to look at a picture to judge the roof pitch.
Do you want 1 big bedroom that can be made into 2? If not then have a look at the Coleman Darwin 5. If you can find one they are a great tent with oodles of space. There are 2 bedrooms but they are great sizes.

I am considering the Nevada M as a replacement for our Vango Omega 350. My OH wants a tent where she can stand up to get dressed.
On the subject of the bedroom(s) in the Nevada, I assumed that the central dividing wall can be rolled up to make one large bedroom. Is that not the case?
