Just been to yeomans show at Calver and had a look the new sprayaway tent "collection".

what do you all think.

My first thought was design by ikea what with space  for storage , walk through corridors etc .

mind you thats the top of the range but a lot to pay for design.

Ah yes. But last year their tents weren't. Some major quality control issues.

Hello all,

We have just been camping this weekend with our new Sprayway Valley 8 2009 into North Wales. It rained quite a lot (although not a downpour) and was a bit windy but there were no leaks that we could find!
It looks like flaps have been added to bottom of the tent at front and bedroom area too, to prevent the cold air problem that has been mentioned on last year's models.
The 2 bedrooms that adjoin each other have also been altered this year, so you can now unzip the partition between them to make one 4 person bedroom. (Hope that makes sense).
It sounds like Sprayway have definitely listened to the feedback and taken it seriously.

All in all, we love this tent, although I think it will take a few practises to perfect the erection of the tent because the side annex gets in the way a bit!!
Would definitely recommend this improved version.

Will leave a review when I get a min...

Caz and Ken x

I have a 2008 Sprayway Valley 4 and although it's not been tested in extreme weather I think it's a brilliant tent.

I wouldn't want 4 people in it, but for me and my dog it's great. The attention to detail is good for something in that price range and it has steel poles and was easy to put up by myself.

It's got great space and quite light and airy.

There are 2 problems I've experienced, firstly the front door has a porch over it, but the door opens from the bottom. My thinking would be zips at the top and unzip the top of the door down to let air in, but not rain, but that's quite minor really.

The other is the bedroom zip is in the wrong corner of the room as you would expect the zip to be on the wardrobe side, but isn't.

I work round those and can't wait to use it this year.
