Hi all

well it appears that camping season is upon us again, we are relatively new campers only went a couple of times last year.

We made the mistake of getting a rubbishy Rage tent from fleabay to see if we enjoyed the whole experience, we loved it, even with the few drips of water landing on us through the badly sewn tent!

Anyway, we're off to Ilkley this sat to the Yeomans tent show, to get a feel of what tents we like, I have my mind set on a tunnel tent, love the montana/amazon/ that sort of thing.

Has anybody purchased a tent from the Yeomans show, I was just wondering if you can get any bargains there, or if they sell them any cheaper than the rrp ?

I have just been looking on ebay , there seems to be a good price for vango diablo 600+lots of extras, but a few things put me off ..it would probably just be me putting the tent up, as oh would be seeing to our son and i believe diablos are pretty tricky, also it would be nice to have brand new equipment.

Was wondering if anybody can recommend a good tunnel tent with a couple of bedrooms (pref next to each other) , s.i.g, and a  decent hh .

Thanks guys

I'm going to the Yeomans show in Ilkley too this weekend. Never been before and looking to buy my first tent.

I cannot decide between the Outwell Nevada M and the Vango Tigris 500. Hopefully these will be on display and I can see if one is worth £100 more than the other.

I best there are other good tents that I simply don't know about! There is too much choice!

IMHO if you are undecided about which tent to get, going to a display is the best thing you can do.

It is easy to fall in love with a tent on the internet but seeing it for real can change opinions rapidly.

I am sure after having a good look around, you will instinctivly know which one to get.

Get a good brand name and dont be too afraid to ask if you are unsure or have questions.

Good luck and happy shopping

Angie
