We are in the process of buying a new family tent. We quite like the Outwell Nevada L, but the new Vango Tigris 600 looks just as good and is quite a bit cheaper. They are very similar in size, looks and features. Can anyone recommend which one we should go for. (Our previous tent was an Outwell Oregan 5, and we were very happy with it.)

I think that they are more or less the same standard, same size and layout. The Vango comes with a lifetime warranty and is a lot cheaper. I'm going do a Tigris myself (either a 600 or an 800).

You can get the Tigris 600 for 199.

Thank you for replying. We were set on buying the Nevada, but not that keen on the colour and we like the extension on the vango with the door on. The problem now is  we would like to see one pitched! We would really like to buy one very soon as booked to go to Fisherground May spring bank.
