Hello,

Has anyone seen or have this tent, very interested in purchasing it, cheaper than the Outwell Minnesota 6, and it uses fibreglass poles, over the steel poles. Means it could be easy for me pitch on my own, while the OH looks after the little one, and the dog.

Any advice would be great, thanks :)

Hi Wilfman,

Ihave seen the Sungari 600 at a couple of displays and was very impressed. I do like the3 porch which Vango have added over the side door of this years models and I also like the large windows in the sungari and the fact that the whole front can be opened when the weather permits.

My wife and I decided that the sungari was too large for the two of us, but if our family were still young and camping with us this tent would have been a sure bet!

I am not sure about errecting it by yourself though, due to the width and hight of the tent the poles are very long.

If you go for the Sungari post a review after you have used it.

Happy camping!

Thanks for the info, looks like I will be ordering the tent tonight, and I found it at a good price
But then I found a deal on the Outwell Minnesota 6 tent, which works out cheaper than the vango when I take into account the carpet and the footprint. Now I am at a crossroads and don't know which one to get.

I am a fan of fibreglass poles, not had one break on me in over 10 years of camping, in all that the British weather could throw at me.

So which one should I go for?

Just bought one of these due to it's 4+2 sleeping arrangement and price £262.50 from J R leisure.
The fibreglass poles look really chuncky and living area is huge, the front can also be opened up fully, I have also bought the footprint & full front extention which will be great for cooking & sitting out in only £69.99.
Looks like a great alternative to outwell Montana 6.
Putting it up for the first time this weekend will post again with outcome.

Hello,Hippo33

Just been looking at this tent too also from J R leisure - it looks really good. I was wondering if you will upload a photo of the tent with it's canopy as we are interested in buying one of those too. Any other info would also be greatly accepted.

thanks leo

Hi and welcome to the forums. There is a very positive review of this tent in the review section added today . I think this is one of those tents that has beeb ignored by the clamour for Outwell alternatives.I think being able to open the whole front is a real positive  ,especially if we have the summer promised.
