It's gone up in a rough form, in about 20 mins on my own: wouldn't have done it without your advice and video, Ewen, thank you!
It must weigh well over 50 kg, mainly due to poles, and I've found out it is the de Vrijbuiter Japio Pyramide 6 Elegance: that trips off the tongue!!

I really liked the Alaska when I looked it up on this site, but it's a lot more expensive than this was!!!

Thank you again for your input, but I doubt now it will get used before next year, and that'll help me decide, bell or dutch...dutch or bell? Hmmm

I haven't used the Alaska at all this year. The biggest tent I've used has been the Force ten MK3.
20 minutes is excellent.

I've used the bell twice on canoeing trips, and a GC Major and ext fly once; but haven't done any solo trips where I use smaller tents.
The F10 is a fabulous tent. I had one, and let it go. I wish I hadn't.

I reckon to set the de V tent up neatly and properly would take me about an hour?

(or not at all without your input!!

)
