Has anyone got any advice on a simple, easy & safe method of getting this pop-up tent back into its carrying bag without taking out an eye, breaking a pole, wrecking the bag or having a nervous breakdown. The instructions are vague & frankly misleading. HELP!!!!!!!!
Hi, you need to make sure that all 3 poles are together in the pouch inside the bag, pushed as far as they will go and then SLOWLY feed the poles into the bag - putting pressure onto the poles by pushing downwards as you do it- roll the bag as you are doing it and keep pushing down onto the poles as they gradually disappear inside the bag (it is best to start doing the zip up a bit as you go) when you only have a foot of poles left it is best to try and get as much of the zip done up as you can and then (with a bit more strength) push the remaining bit of the poles into the bag so that they are wedged in. Squash the air out as much as you can...... You should then be able to do up the rest of the zip....
Hope this helps its the best way I can describe it.
50 hours after it emerged from it's bag I have finally wrestled it back in with Andy's advice. That was to feed the poles in SLOWLY whilst rolling the great anaconda SLOWLY. To which I would add the following. 1. It came out so BELIEVE that it will go back in 2. Have confidence that the poles WILL NOT SNAP 3. It's NOT a one person operation & 4. You will definitely need to have eaten 4xWeetabix & at least a can of spinach because once you start, you must finish as it is one continuos process.
Just be very careful on your first date unless you are fit, strong, agile & have a vice-like grip. On the other hand if you have none of these be afraid BE VERY AFRAID!
