Hi Phil
Great Choice by the way! I believe that the Amazon is the polyester version of the Zambezi poly cotton one which we have. It is a wonderful tent and it takes me and my partner around 40 minutes to completly set up.
I can't vouch for the polyester of course but what i can say is that this is a Vango tent and if you have any problems with it you will get great after care. The crystal clear windows are really great as are the cable vents, the best part of this though is the amount of room you have and the zipped window covering which acts like a blind therefore adjusting the amount of light you want in. The steel poles are great, last year in Portugal we had the worst storm they had in 18 years in the algarve, it rained for two nights and days we stayed dry inside with the camp site around us all flooded. Also in Quincho near Lisbon we had the most awful wind storm, the tent didn't move at all.
Vango tents are extremely strong and well designed for practicality, believe me you really have made a great choice in my opinion.
Have fun! Oh and you will be given a dvd to watch of the tent being put up, if you do get this tent but you may not be able to put it up the way they do on the dvd but my partner and I usually peg out the front of the tent then raise each pole one of us on either side of the tent until we get to the back then secure the canopy when it is all pegged in.
