We had our new sahara delivered last week and have been chuffed with how it looks, its size and ease of going up and  coming down, BUT never see it mentioned anywhere on these pages including the Tent reviews section. Is there some deep dark problem with my lovely tent? would love to hear if anyone has any experience or even just seen one on a campsite !! good or bad ! Thanks

We had the normal Sahara 4/5 and it was a lovely tent. I think the Polycotton version was rare and slightly before its time in that polycotton hadn't become mainstream at the time the Sahara was popular - the "in" thing was very much the Vango Diablo pitch monster!

Strange through it may seem it wasn't very long ago that those of us who favoured canvas tents were seen as slightly odd - now the tide has turned the other way!

The Colemans of that ilk were great tents and there is nothing to make me think that there is anything wrong with it at all.

We still have the original Sahara 4/5 which is the same as the Gelert Utah 4+4. Awesome tent, stands up to any weather and a good size for the 2 of us. It is starting to get a little frayed round the edges now, but got my eye on one of those new Kampa tents.
