Hi steve, no tips on the tent, except it has always had good reviews like the monty 6.

on the haven website it states that for  tents over 6m length , you have to ring and speak to them . I was booking kiln park once , late booking after the phonelines had closed and couldn't get to speak to anyone.

Well , I took a smaller tent, but when I arrived, the non electric  tent field was huge and I was told to pitch anywhere, so the tent size wouldn't have beeen a problem . but the electric pitches were surrounded on 3 sides by  hedges, and the access road . You just wouldn't have fitted a longer tent in on the pitch .

So maybe ask beforehand if you intend using their sites regularly. No idea what the situation is any of their other sites.

Haven at Hafen Y Mor, North Wales, dosen't take tents.

Some campsite will state a price for upto a 6 man tent or so many metres by so many meters. Like Debbie said, if you want electric you have to think about where the post's are.

Your tent is not much wider the mine, a Montana 6, it's just longer.

If you think about some of these Dome tents that you can get get , there footprint is massive.

If you let the site know your tent they have probably had it there before and will know how to charge.
