HI CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME, I HAVE A QUECHA POP UP TENT BUT WOULD LIKE SOMETHING I CAN STAND IN,, BUT IT MUST BE EASY ENOUGH FOR A 50 YEAR OLD WOMAN TO PUT UP ON HER OWN,,,
MANY THANKS
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
We have a Khyam Tourer 400 - one of the quick erect Khyams - works sort of like putting up an umbrella. If you could get a hold of the 200 then that would be perfectly good to put up on your own.
I think there are quite a few tents out there that are capable of being erected by a single person - one of the other single putter uppers will be along shortly to give their expertise.
Some of the 3 or 4 man Cabanons could easily be erected by a single person.
thank you all so much, any and all information is very useful, does anyone know of anywhere in the somerset, wiltshire areas where you can view a good selection of tents ????
How about a Quechua Base - I think you can then 'attached' your existing one to it. DOn't really know a lot about them but I saw this demonstrated in France last summer. Look on their website.
Try Highbridge Camping on the A38 near Burnham on Sea and just a bit further up the A38 in the Bristol direction, Taunton Leisure's tent display at Sanders Garden World.
And there's Somerset Caravans and Camping at Walford Cross, right on the junction of the A38 and A361 just East of Taunton.
So you can have a nice day driving along the A38 visiting 3 displays all within a reasonable distance of each other.
Thers a photo here on the tent pics thread , that shows a great idea, a pop up tent with a large vango canopy , brilliant to increase the living space if you are happy with the pop up as a bedroom .
