Hi, I'm new to this forum as I am going stir crazing trying to find a new tent for this year and have narrowed it down to 3:
Outwell Sun Valley 8
Outwell Nebraska XXL
Outwell Georgia XXL
I was all for the Sun Valley but I saw a photo of the sleeping compartments and I dont think you can join the back two together (we have a very large blow up bed that we (me, hubby + 2 Kids) all sleep on so that is why I was drawn to the XXL Nebraska & Georgia as the main bedroom sleeps 4.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Off for 10 days in August to Cornwall so fingers crossed we get the good summer we are supposed to be having!!
Cheers

You can join the two back bedrooms into one in the sunvalley 8 provided it is a 2006 version onwards. It was the 2005 bedrooms that were two seperate pods at the back, but if you are looking at a 2008 version then yes they are one big room that can be seperated into two with the zip. We have the sunvalley 6. the back bedrooms are the same as the sunvalley 8 at the back and we always have the two rooms opened up into a huge room that we then wedge 3 double mattresses into so the whole family can sleep together.

the sun valley has the most compact footprint so will be the most widely accepted on sites. As hs been said the back bedroom can be unzipped to make one large room.
I love my Nebraska XL - sleeps 4 on both sides - one side we have the divider permanently rolled up, the other side we use as two pods for guests/storage. Trouble with the Nebraska's not being made any more though is that you might find it hard to get all the add-ons, esp. carpet

Royal Pescara 8 is almost identical to the Nebraski XL and as two 4 man bedrooms, both of which are dividable. In addition it comes with a rear annex and a front sun canopy. I can vouch for the quality of build, we tryed ours out two weeks ago and it is excellent. Reports on here list quite a few problems with Nebraska's leaking which is why I went for the Pescara in the end.
Tent reviews section is well worth a study. Good luck.
Thanks, I am now looking at 'Royal' tents and must say I am impressed with the Royal Pescara and the Royal Bordeaux. Reviews on the board look positive too.
The 2 bedroom pods at the back supposed 2x3 but better as 2x2 - dividing material just zips up or unzips and can be used as one big pod as well as 2 double pods.
The other pod (if you need to use it) is supposedly a 2 man pod but this is my daughter and her single airbed and I'm not convinced a double would fit in - if it did then it would be a squeeze and no room width ways for anything else. She had room for her bags, clothes and 'stuff' at the foot of the bed.

Thanks for the photos, your model is the one that I like as I know some of the porches on the front vary.
Now i'm even more confused as to which one to go for!! Decisions decisions!!
Perhaps the price will make your mind up for you, I got excellent service from Tamworth Camping and they are selling Pescara's for £440 at the moment. They come in blue or green.
