I've seen a good deal on a Wynnster Peregrine tent that sleeps 6, for £119, it looks good for a weekend tent, but I'm on Outwell owner and I don't know anybody with a Wynnster.

Are they a good brand?

I've had Wynnsters for several years with no complaints.  Mine have been good quality tents.  I'd say on a par with Outwell and if my Vango Kura is anything to go by, better than Vango.

We Have had 2 Wynnster tents and both have been VERY good quality' easy to erect and very-very spacious...We still have our Cygnus which held up well in pretty crappy weather last year! Sadly our Anglesey 5 "died" last year (R.I.P)- The best tent we ever had!!!!!

Overall I think that they are a pretty good brand (and now the same company as Khyam i think) and would deffo recommend them.

A lot of our gear is also Wynnster and have had no problems with it....[:o)]

We've got a shrike and it seems well made enough. Very easy to put up also. The pockets inside the tent have ripped but otherwise still perfect.

Many thanks for all the replies from Wynnster owners - obviously a well-supported brand.

I've only had my Eagle 6 out for 1 weekend but it was fantastic, very well put together and sooo spacious. The only thing could be the bedrooms, I think they may be a bit cramped with a double airbed. It's no problem for us though as there are only the 2 of us plus small dog.

Hi Marilyn

Strange layout on the bedrooms or have they changed etc ???

The larger pod has only a single size bed in the middle then the divider and what looks like a 3 person area. Add that to the 2 person pod it adds up to 6. I was under the impression that the 4 person pod was equally split. Please advise on this etc as I am sure someone mentioned 3 DB airbeds at a struggle. I understand it zips open but not fully just like a curtain so I guess that would be a pain etc but 3 DB airbeds how come ???

Cheers

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Mine is the 2008 model and the large pod is evenly split. We use it with the divider open and our queen size double height airbed in the middle with space either side to get into bed as you would at home. If I remember you have got the 2009 model which may be different in some way.

Just wanted to tell you that I've just ordered a Wynnster Peregrine 8 for a fab price of £129, this will be our weekend tent. Due to be delivered tomorrow, so hopefully will get to use it next week.
