Hi all, I have been browsing this site for a while now, i must say its great!! so i have eventually singed up.
This weekend we was looking in our local winfields with the mother and fatherin law for a tent as they are going to come with us in june. Much to our suprise we ended up buying one (as you do). I felt we couldnt say no really our old one been a gelert stratus tunnel four. The one we bought is a outwell Iowa its the 2008 model so is in blue and is a ex display model so they practically gave us it for £140, i thought this was quite a bargain? they said it will be all checked over prior to us picking it up, now we have picked it up i will get round to pitching and checking my self. Anyways after reading about the footprints im interested in getting one as i would hate to hole the SIG. i can get the footprint and carpet from www.tauntonleisure.com for £62.50 delivered but my only concern is that this is listed for the Outwell Iowa L. So could anybody tell us the difference between the Iowa and the Iowa L, if any and will this fit ours? Sorry for waffling. also any opinions on the tent would be great!
Thanks in advance Andy

Hi Andy, that seems a good price including delivery. You could get each item seperate a little cheaper, but by the time you have paid two delivery charges it will work out dearer

Andy - footprints useful if you have a sewn in ground sheet (SIG) or a zipped in groundsheet as the footprint will to some extent protect the SIG from getting all muddy. Harder to clean a SIG. If the groundsheet is the bathub style or just separate then a footprint is not usually required but you could still use one as an extra layer between you and mother earth
