Hello. We are looking to buy a family tent to use as much as possible over the next couple of years, but as always, funds are tight. Our requirements are:
3 bedrooms,
somewhere to sit if its raining,
something easy to put up/down
up to £200 (max!!).
There have been so many cheap tents in highstreet and internet stores over the weekend, but I don't want to buy something that will just leak or we will chuck away.
Am I asking too much?
Thanks in anticipation,
Sarah

i've just bought a Wynnster Peregrine 8 tent from awnings.co.uk for £129. It's got a SIG, three bedrooms (the main one is huge!), and it was pretty quick to put up when we tried it out this weekend. It has got a decent sitting area (about 2.4m square) and looks well made.
I've spent a long time (nearly 2 years!) looking for a second tent but I've not wanted anything cheap. I would recommend this tent, it's great value.
I've spent hours looking up tents, there are a lot to choose from, and to date I've nearly bought an Outwell Nevada M, an Outwell Iowa L, Vango Tigris 600, Vango Orchy 500, but none of them have been quite right. I have 2 boys who don't like sharing, but finding a 3-bed tent with sig for under £200 seemed unlikely.
I'm very happy with my purchase!

Hi after days ........no weeks searching online for a tent with same budget as you I bought a vango albany 800 = 8 berth tunnel tent, has SIG and two big ........big bedrooms at either end of tent both of which can be split to make 4 bedsrooms. Easy to erect and large living space. Was £180 from marshall leisure .......was best deal I could find at mo as everyone seems to be buying tents and taking up camping !!!
Thanks to you both.Gemd, cantg see your deal anymore! I have also now started perusing eBay, and my eyes are bigger than my family needs - falling in love with Skandika tents. Is this madness?
