I've just bought the modulus 7 and found the instructions were rubbish. Having finall sussed it out, the only problems I find is that one of the bedroom sections seems a bit odd - it does not sit centrally spaced from the side walls (the elastic supports are tight one side and loose on the other) also the bedroom groundsheet does not sit flat.
In addition to this the roof canvas over the living area seems loose and a bit flappy (not nice and taut as it should be. I've got the poles in the correct colour coded sleeves and fitted the roof tensioner bar and strap.)
The tent came with the inner bedrooms pre-fitted - I wonder if it is preferable to keep them like this or whether you should take them out after use and add them after each new pitching.
Anyone got any ideas please or experience of this tent.

Many thanks.

I was just considering purchasing one of these, at the moment you wouldn't recommend it?

Thanks

I had also looked into it, a very good price and wasn't the HH 6000?

Can't give any advice as I would have been looking for the same info as yourself, hopefully someone will come along soon

yes I would! it is a great tent - just those minor niggles which I think are probably due to a problem putting it up. The inner tents are prefitted in the flysheet attached by the normal elastic toggles and to the sewn in groundsheet via adjustable straps. I think possibly the adjustable straps were not adjusted properly in the factory and as I was only away for the weekend did not want to spend ages adjusting them.
Bought mine at Somerset camping and leisure ( Taunton ) for £179 which i think is a keen price - I believe they also sell on the net. If you are in the area they have one pre-erected in their show area

We`ve just come back from camping with friends who have just bough this tent......

The pole that goes across the living area to raise the headroom, keep slipping round, so, instead of raising the roof height, it made it sag badly.......

They had no problems with the bedroom pods, they pitched the tent with one attached, and one separate I think ( was not paying too much attention as I was pitching my own).

They were very happy with it....although, due to its pale colour...it was always covered in flies.

We have the Mod 5 ( there is a site review of it) I am not sure what you mean about the bedroom section .... any pictures ???? mine was fine . Perhaps it was a manufacturing fault ???

WE attach the second bedroom unit , but don't use the inner tent .... gives a lot more room. ( so we leave one in place and one removed)

The cross bar will fit correctly if you get the tensioning strap right ;-)

Recommended tent ????

definitely !

Hi,

I still like the look of the tent I'm hoping to go and see it at a camping exhibition. I also like the look of the Matrix 9 but I am a bit worried about the weight of it.
Glad to know you recommend it!
