Hi,

did anyone have any great ideas yet?  I was wondering - if we use two long strips - one to cover bedroom to bedroom - going underneath the dome, and one to cover entrance, dome, (Link Annexe) and Kitchen annex.

Any opinions?

Although I now need a rethink due to the Link Annexe situation, but as the above are all seperate groundsheets I should be able to re-arrange and get another smaller one. This will even cover the 'mini' Evolva weekender option using the Link Annexe, Bedroom and Chef Annexe.

How good a fit is the Coleman 640 x 300 for the main tent?

I've just bought two cheap tarps from B&Q as campasarow previously suggested.  The blue ones are around £12 but in the gardening section they have green ones made of the same stuff at the same size for only £7something!  Much better!

Need some dry weather now to lay them out to trim them.  Was thinking of using the outwell minnesota carpet as a template for the main (plus a bit for the length under the doormat).  Will also consider reinforcing the edges with black duct tape and maybe install a few plastic eyelets too.

The tarps I got from B&Q were 4m x 5m.  I picked up two which should be plenty for all possibly combinations of the tent (or Evolvalette!).  Not cut them yet as we have three pet rabbits that would like to play inside/ eat the tent should I put it up!  I'll shut them away next week when I'm off to get it done.

Looking back at my post, I don't know why I was thinking minnesota carpet, I meant the montana 12 like others have got!  Must be getting old.
