tenner its betta than nothing, ive told the missus we are gonna have to make cut backs to buy this monster i wanna get it so we can go camping when the kids are off in the 6 weeks holiday
If you can hold fire until the last minute, you might get a better price, but popular tents are now going out of stock not to be replaced till next production batch comes through. Frankly, if you get a deal under £600 that is great. Depends if you want all the accessories, as a deal might be done, especiially if you want other gear as well.

Bought this tent on Saturday. Its great. All the accessorize as well! Need a new car now to put everything in!!!
Paid the full price for it. £650. But picked it up there and then as apparently they are suffering from lack of stock this year due to the recession and manufacturing firms cutting back thinking nobody would but anything, but loads of people are buying tents. Thats what the manager told me anyway, and he seemed a very genuine guy.
I think that is fundamentally correct. Camping shops will probably loathe to restock large cash items if they can not clear their alternatives. They will be aware that when the economy picks up , there may be a flood of second hand hardly used tents to compete with the lessening demand possibly next year .

I bought ours from Camping on Tyne for £600. Got a good deal on the accessories too. However they did not have any in stock and had to wait 2 weeks to get it one in from outwell.
We went to the shop (near Prudhoe in Northumberland) but they do have a website. www.campingontyne.com
