We get all our gear in our Grand Scenic , minus one seat . No roof box, no trailer ,and nothing above the back seat line, (well going , any way !! ). As for weight, not a problem ,as being in four parts, you can spread it around , and having two teenage sons should make pitching a breeze.Also , if you want to go away with out the lads ,you can take yust the main tent and a single sleep annexe. Or purchase a link annexe , and that would allow you a weekender or tourer option without having to take the main tent , as it joins two annexes together.
