PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP WITH ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THIS CABANON TENT. WE ARE LOOKING TO BUY ONE SECOND HAND. THE GUY WHO IS SELLING IT SAID IT IS ONLY A COUPLE OF YEARS OLD AND HE PURCHASED IT FROM NEW.

HOWEVER I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANY INFORMATION ON THIS TENT WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE IT'S OLDER THAN 2 YEARS.

I'VE SEEN PICTURES OF THE TENT AND IT'S REALLY APPEALING TO THE EYE BUT I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW HOW EASY IT IS TO ERECT.

Just realised I was typing in capitals Sorry!

Any information would be gratefully received.

Just had a look through my Cabanon info and no sign of it, at a guess I would say it is at least pre 2000!, hope that helps.

What colour is it? I don't know how old it is but it I'm pretty certain they weren't making that model 2 or three years ago, probably more like 10 years ago.

Are you sure the seller hasn't accidentally missed a '1' off the given age? 17

My guess is that it is twelve plus! If it has the lattice windows, it is an oldie.

There is a blue and grey Rotonde on ebay which they state was purchased new in the mid 90's and there is an orange and brown one on there too, which judging by the colours would be quite a bit older than that. Might give you some idea.

Hi, forgot to say on the other post that 'my' one was 1978 without a mudwall (another give away to being an older style Cabanon)along with the retro colour scheme and 'Georgian' windows. Gail's is only 23 years old but there are newer ones so the guess above of 12 years seems about right. Apparently they were often used by Keycamp-style holiday companies because of their size. Depends what the price is and condition. Check the guy rope points in particular.
