Hi

We have a montana 12 - 2007 version - and had noticed a few problems getting the poles apart - where the roof ones join the uprights - cos the roof ones have a flattened edge and there seems to be a little space which can cause them to twist a bit.  Fortunately we have always been able to get them apart, however I was reading about a montana 6 being sold and having 3 bags of poles as some were recalled....but can't find anything about this anywhere else.  If they have redesigned the poles and we could get a new set that would not jam that would be great!  Anyone know anything?  I tried emailing them but it just got bounced back!

you could try spraying the joints with fabsil before pitching and i sometimes have to tap the joint with my rubber mallet to release the poles.

Thanks - we have used the fabsil - and we havn't had one completely stuck yet so that we can't separate!  Just worry that if it was really stormy they might twist and then wq would have to get home with a car full of poles!!!17
