After much frustrating googling, I am no nearer to finding my dream tent. I would like a dome tent, with 3 sleeping pods and sewn in groundsheet. It has to be a proper round dome, not one with the sticking out bedrooms. I'm intending to use it up a wet boggy hillside, where the wind howls constantly and it'll be left pitched for a month, sometimes unattended for days at a time. Friends at the same location have noticed that tents with lots of small panels stand up to the wind better than ones with big panels. Oh, and I'm pretty skint, so as cheap as possible. I know it's a tall order, but I would be grateful for suggestions.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a dome with 3 rooms that doesnt have pods to be honest. If your concerned about winds I'd be looking at either a frame tent or 3 small 3 man tents.
I think pods are what I meant when I said rooms. Maybe that's why I'm not getting far! I meant one of those circular/octagonal tents that have 3 detachable sleeping areas on the inside, rather than sticking out. Unfortunately a frame tent is out due to weight and it has to be a single tent as our children are too young to be in a seperate one. Thanks for the suggestions and the link ... and please keep them coming!
I'd go for a Vango Aspen, either the 500 or the 500 DLX or the 700 or 700 DLX, depending upon your bedroom requirements and which models you can still find. These are discontinued models, pitch inner first, but are sturdy when pitched and nice to live in because of the double skin. They take a while to pitch but, if you intend leaving it pitched for a month, that shouldn't be a problem. They seem to match your requirements (no pods, but three inner bedrooms). Better still, they should be available at a good price...

Hmmm...sorry, just re-read that ad and seems they have pitched it once, so bit naughty to advertise it as new and unused (only tent which is new and unused is one which has never been out of it's bag!).
Might be worth checking out retailers, though. I see one is advertising a brand new one on ebay, so it might be possible to get it cheaper by going direct or throught heir online store. Just a thought...
The aztec palacio 6 has three interior bedrooms and a round dome shape, you often see these on ebay going cheap. £180 here
My sister has one and its a very strong sturdy tent.
Just re read openeng post,
sorry this hasn't got a sewn in groundsheet
