Hi, Has anyone got the weekender package or a Vango Icarus and sun canopy? the reason is, when we put it up for the first time, there seemed to be a gap at the side where it joins the tent. This will be fine in good weather, but a bit of a nuisance in bad. We can't pull it any nearer, because the elasticated bit has to fit behind the poles, behind the door.(if that makes sense!) I'm sure it'll be ok, just wanted another opinion!

Hi Anne,

if you look on my gallery you can see some pics of our icarus with large canopy fitted during a very wet weekend at Glastonbury.We had no problems with rain coming in and in fact the whole thing stood up very well in some heavy wind and rain conditions

no what you mean Anne we had a same problem this weekend.

Pete you design seems a bit different to ours, yours looks much better! 

Hi Anne    we bought the large sun canopy for our Icarus 500. you will always get a small gap either side as the canopys are universal. be patient fitting, and make sure the canopy is in line equally with the tent and tentioned correctly. Another tip is to use the centre pole eyelets on yor tent to attach the canopy. we do this and have never had any problems with wind or rain. I hope this makes sense and have added some photos in my gallery to show how ours is pitched.
