Hi

We have an outwell montana 6 tent and have been really pleased with it. However, when taking it down the last time we went camping we obviously took it down in the wrong order removing the rain porch poles last, as the tent came down the rain porch pole snapped. Has anyone else had this problem?? Does anyone know where you can get a replacement pole?

get in touch with outwell and they should be able to tell you were you can get a replacement pole

I think the pole for the canopy is not a readily available spare part. You may have to get a camping shop to order one in for you.

when the canopy pole on my sisters nevada xl snapped for the second time , she used a narrow fibreglass pole from an old tent ,(a kids tesco value one that cost about £5) cut to size . worked better than the original one , as the original was too long and thats why it snapped each time .

Probably cheaper than a replacement pole .

The canopy pole isn't a fibregalss one in the monty if I remeber rightly, but I should think this would work just the same .
