We took a chance on this one as a 'weekender'. Pitched it in the garden on Sunday and I must admit quite impressed. One 4 man bedroom pod with a sewn in, zippable divider, which may have to be cut out to fit in our queen size air bed but no real problem. Separate groundsheet, not sewn in or ZIG but for this money what can you expect. Centre pair of poles adjustable to suit ground level or leave large gap for ventilation if reqd. Repair kit even includes spare pole sections, elastic cord, guy rope (all guys reflective) and includes canopy poles as standard. Not tried it in the rain as yet but if it lives up to its 3000 HH should be OK.
hi bud. the tent you have just got from aldi. is it bathtub style. as i am slowly getting up to date on things after many years of non camping. will rain water flow into the tent from the sides if it ours down. as no doubt it would for me.
The bedroom pod has a bathtub groundsheet, the living area has a separate sheet. Rain could, therefore, flow into the tent but at least your bed would be dry! I have your kind of weather luck as well.

thanks for that pete. not too sure i want to be surrounded by a pool of water when i wake up in the morning. even tho i am a good swimmer. i want a new tent. seen one advertised in the free adverts page. one in swansea. for £60. i sent to mails to him on the site. but no reply. even offering to come and collect .all the way from gateshead. as i travel free on the train. the first mail was over a week ago. lo and behold. it was still there on offer. placed again yesterday. now i am wondering if the mail got to him thru this site. have you used the free advert site. and if so. did you have any probs with replies.
pete. the tent he is selling is a coleman bi space 400. ideal for my needs. if you know of anyone selling a tent something like that. can you let me know.
We have had several of this kind of tent over the years, never had a SIG/ZIG, and also have never had a problem with flooding out, even during the driving wind/rain in Cornwall last September.
Must admit, never use the Ads, maybe the seller is just not reading his mail?
Good luck with your search!

i think you may be right pete. but the ad was put back on again yesterday. but. never mind. i thought the weather would be ok today. .but i just looked out of the window towards the north west. ( gateshead metrocentre direction. ) black clouds coming in. more rain. so much for helping my mate do his garden. oh well. back to bed or maybe housework.
The poster of the ad could well be on holiday give them a little longer. Or their spam filter could be stopping your mail getting through. Try again and only use the name of the tent in the subject line.
