We have used the tigris 600 the last 2 times we have been away.It is an upgrade from the halfords £99 deal so a MASSIVE improvement over that one.
There are more reviews here:
Apart from a small problem with the groundsheet(probably my error) i have been very impressed with the tigris.
How many of you would be staying in it?there are 4 of us so we do'nt use the front bedroom compartment. This allows us to have a large living area and to use the large front door( this cannot be used if you use the front bedroom).
Weather-wise it rained heavily for an hour or so last weekend and it handled it easy.
I'm sure ther will be others along to help you soon.
I haven't got the 600 but have got the 800. We personally found that it wouldn't give us enough flexibility and that is why we opted for the 800 plus for the extra space it was only an extra £30. HTH.

There will be 2 adults, a 16 year old and a 7 year old.
What is the living area like, is there plenty of room on those rainy days?
Cheers
John

Isn't the 800 a bit big for most sites?
I like the look of the 800 but my wife thinks it is a bit big especially when it will only be myself her and our 7 year old that will be going away as the 16 year old is that age where parents are boring :)
We had one of those folding picnic tables ,2 adult and 2 kids folding chairs(mine are 3+6) plus bags of clothes, food etc in ours and managed no problem.
I'll have a look at my photos later to see if there are any i can upload which gives an idea of size.
I would be surprised if this wouldnt be suitable for 2 adults and a 7 year old.

John.
We have the 800 and haven't had any problems getting a pitch for it. it gives us oodles of room (2 adults, a middle teen, a young tweeny and a large child). i think the 600 would be big enough for you if your teen isn't going to camp much with you.
We have the 800 too. It is big, so won't fit on every pitch but I don't think there would be many sites which wouldn't have somewhere to fit it. It takes up less space than some of the dome tents I've seen.

Thanks mate for the pics. My wife likes the look of it and so do I. Looks like we will be buying one on Saturday. Hoping to go to Granny's Heilan Hame at the end of July.
The pitching footprint is 7.4m x 2.8m, which will fit just fine on a benchmark C&CC pitch. (They state max footprint of 8m x 5m.) Even room for a side canopy!
i got the youkon 600 identical really to the tigris and we only use one bedroom to add extra space we all squeze in the big room 5 of us lol but were comfy and gives you loads more room i was thinking about the 800 but the size was a problem i have a large royal and have found a few sites turn me down or charge extra so thats why i went for the 600 so im not restricted at all
