The search for our new family tent continues! (6+ berth).
Have been to a local of stores/ tent displays - but haven't found one yet that stocks the larger Coleman tents. There are a couple more tent shows coming our way at the beginning of July that we're going to, but we're really keen to see a Coleman tent in the flesh!!
Can anyone recommend a stockist in the Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey area?
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I would love to see a Coleman Weathermaster XL and a Matrix X6 /x9 next to each other. I saw a Weathermaster L at Go Outdoors in Wakefield at the weekend and it looked great.
Any ideas in the Yorkshire or even London areas of stockist with them up?
I think one of these will be my next buy.
I got a Coleman Outfitter Camp Kitchen recently which is so cool!
May as well go the whole hog and get a matching tent!
If you want to see Coleman tents best to phone first !!
Have you considered the Evolva ? There is one on display at JR Leisure Nottingham , and the other Coleman on display was a ModulusX7 .The Evolva is similar in size to an X9 but with two bedrooms and a chef annexe ,apart from being modular, it is full height in all the annexes .Best do a google search and phone up retailer to see if one on display. If you are serious, they may pitch one for you .
Nothing wrong with being carried away !!! I pitched mine with my 11 year old daughter , just steadying the odd pole. Once the main tent is up it can be solo all the way. Come and join us , the Evolva Society!!
When living in Southampton, Hampshire I used Leisure Trail Solent Ltd. They have an outdoor tent display, sell Coleman tents and are very helpful. Website leisuretrail.com Best to phone first on 023 8178 8165.
Situated in West End area in a large Haskins Garden Centre complex with Hobbycraft.
I just bought a coleman wethermaster L, and am awaiting delivery. I bought this based on reviews and it's name- my last tent was a vango orchy 500, it lasted for 1 trip. vango were not interested- poor aftersales. The 10 mph wind blew it down and snapped the poles. I've been camping for 30 years, and they tried to tell me i'd pitched it incorrectly.
I'm looking forward to my new coleman and I will upload a picture when i first pitch it.
I used to have the older weathermaster, was an absolutely brilliant tent and stood up to everything. We then lent it out to a friend who was going on a 'christian camping weekend', then went to use couple months later to find it covered in mold and it was completely ruined with no waterproofing
We probably would have still had it if it wasn't for that! I have not seen the new ones anywhere but would be nice to see some!
hi there anyone know where i would find a mackenzie x8 pitched as i would like to see one in the flesh so to speak before i buy. by the way i am in hexham so anywhere in the north would do.
I have just pitched my new Weathermster xl for the first time in my back garden(having thrown my Rage volda back at tentastic). It is blooming massive!
Of course when I decided to buy it I checked all the online reviews and had a look at one at a camp site early in the year. The problem was I think I was looking at the smaller L, when this turned up, well imagine my suprize! Still its great andwe are taking it out next weekend for the first time to Beacon Farm(Whitby) so if your in the area and you wanna have a look then pop on over, I am the one in the coleman palace.
I am gonna take some pics so will try and get em posted when I get back, so you can all have a look see
