Thought a few people on here might be interested in this, currently available in Morrisons stores at £50, the RRP is £149 and the cheapest I can see it elsewhere is £100.
The tent is actually branded as a Scafell Rock Eagle 6 but if you go to www.scafellrock.com you are directed to the gelert website with the same tent just called a cadiz 6. The tent is actually a different colour as well (pine/abbey grey) but the features are exactly the same, the main one being the 3000hh.
A few stores might still have the tent at the previous price of £70 but it will scan through the till at £50.
I managed to get the wife to pick one up from the Scarborough store on the way home from work yesterday as there were none in stock in York, there is still stock about but it won't last long at the price.
It seems a good tent for the price, I had fancied buying a vango tigris 800 but can't quite stretch that far this year, the gelert will do us for this year and i'm sure we can recoup most of the cost if we come to sell it later (they go for around £100 on ebay).
Hope a few of you manage to grab one....

I posted about this a couple of days back but it does bear repeating. I used to have the slightly larger Gelert Cadiz 5+2 and it was a great tent...sturdy, easy to pitch and good qiuality construction. My only quibbles? The pegs (easily sorted) and in my model there was no storm flap along the rear wall of the living area, which I sorted in ten minutes with the sewing machine and a 12" strip of tarp. The two man pod takes a double airbed with plenty of luggage space at each end and the big pod of my 5+2 was cavernous. I only changed it because I wanted a bit more living space withought taking out the smaller pod. In fact I part exchanged it for a TT belonging to a pal of mine and they (a couple) are still using it and very happy.
Hi - my first post so hope you all don't fall asleep - lol.
Being novice campers my partner and I bought this same tent from Morrisons in Dukinfield. We haven't actually been camping before and thought for a starter tent the price was great so we bought it. Well we pitched it yesterday and wow it's well cool. And after reading all these posts on here we are sure we have got an absolute bargain - roll on the camping!!!
If anyone has any links to any decent campsite round the country so we can get started could you post em and I can have a nosey. Thanks. ;-)

You have got a bargain. It was over three times the price when it forst came out and is a good sturdy tent that will stand up to a lot of bad weather. And will last you for a few years, unlike most other £50 tents you'll find in the supermarket!
As I've said before though you might want to buy it some bigger pegs, an extra section of groundsheet for under the second pod and either add a storm flap along the sides of the living area or extend the extra groundsheet so it covers the living area twice and turns up the inside of the flysheet by six or eight inches. This will elliminate the draughts.
