Thank you for the compliment. I am in the process of doing just that :-) I have bought some large plastic eyelets that clip together (tarp eyelets), which are big enough for the poles to slip through. As soon as the weather is nicer I will pitch the tent and extension in the garden and work out exactly where to put them. I will post here if it works. I do love this tent and extension, it is perfect for short breaks for the two of us, which is why I have gone to so much trouble to try and improve it.
