How do you want to sleep? All at one end, opposite, or , flexible? And of course Mr Budget rears his inevitable head.

17 Totally agree! Two adults, two kids and a loopy bearded collie cross! Fab tent, plenty of room.

don't really want to pay the price of an outwell as it's the first time with the kids( 5 and 7). just looking for a budget version to see how they like it and then move up next year. sleeping arrangments aren't really an issue. p.s. the dog's an akita puppy

S.herring I am going to put my Wynnster Mallard 6 on EBay, its a great starter tent loads of room to get you going. I paid £120 for it last year its only been used 3 times and in perfect nick. You can see some pictures of it here. (not mine pictures or tent) it the blue one. If you like the look of it make me a sensible offer.

I am about to get the Evolva or Matirx 6 tomorrow I think. The Mallard has served me and my 3 young boys well.

Ooh your Akita pup will get bigger then!! lol Really does depend on your budget as there are soo many out there and with an idea of budget people can then give you a great idea of what is the most ideal for you.17

looking at a budget of around 120 as we don't want to spend too much in case the kids change thier minds (you all know what kids can be like)

Well that would be a good tent to have! Made of very, very strong stuff17

Do you have a limit on boot space? Require something that can be pitched single handedly?
