Hi all, am looking at buying this tent but am a little unsure of the bedroomlayout. From what I can gather it s one 4 man room and two 2 man rooms. Does anyone have this tent to advise if this is right? Are the two 2 man rooms seperate or can they be combined into a 4 man if needed?
I was also looking at the hi-gear kalahari any views on this tent?
Cheers Any help or thoughts on either would be appreciated.
Sarah

I have been looking at exactly the same tents. From what I have seen and read I think the Kyham Ontario 8 seems like a better tent, although thats just my opinion !. Also the Kalahari only has a Hydrostatic Head of 3000, whilst the Kyham is 5000.
The only thing i am note sure about is this curtain divider thing, does it fully seal off each room, or is it just flapping around ?

We have a 2007 Ontario 8 which has the 3 bedroom pods. There are 2 seperate 2 man pods and a larger 4 berth pod which can be divided with a curtain. I actually found the curtain to be quite good - it attatches with toggles top and bottom and didn't flap around. The pods can comfortably accommodate 75cm wide airbeds.
Ours has 3 bedrooms we tend to have me the oh and our 2 boys 2 and 4 in the big 4 pod on a double and 2 singles (bit of a squeze but it works)!! Then have one of the 2 beds as storage and leave the other one of to make more living room!!

I haven't used our dividers yet, but they seemed fine, bit better than some I've seen. However! I wouldn't want to share one pod with another couple ;) I think they're fine for splitting kids up tho, or creating a storage space.
I think with one end divided into 2 completely separate rooms you lose a little bit of space but I suppose it depends who it's for :) I'm 5 years away from having teenagers LOL
