hi can anyone recommend a decent 2 or 3 birth tent that can compete with either the slumit cub or gobi for ease of assembly and spec?
need for festies this summer and can't be dealing with budget tents and wasting too much time and stress putting it up! on my 3rd popup tent and my last - the poles keep snapping under continuous use!!
Seen these slumit tents being demoed recently on a campsite stall - they do look awesome! all in one instant assemble! the rep said they are taking orders and due this summer! my budgets £60-80

I heard about these tents want to get one. Don't think theres anything that uses the same pop up mechanism. Apparantly to assemble it you just need to open it like an umbrella and as the frame is built in it is alot more sterdy than a standard pop up tent. They've got a website but it's under construction so not sure if they're on sale yet.
Never heard of them you cant beat the Quechua 2 sec tent the original and the best. I have had mine about 3 -4 years and use 5-6 times a year and is still going strong.

yeah thx for the link iunfortunately a tad outside the price range esp for a 2 berth, granted fair bit of space though!
Am really smitten with the Slumit tents.. honestly look great, really simple to pitch and packs a real punch in the spec department!! keeping my options open, but with their sales dept notifying me of uk delivery around the 15th july, it'll be hard not to!

thanks for the msg - though owned a Q'2sec before but had pole problems twice in fact ,gelert (never again)and a millets own..found it flimsy should have been called 'only lasts for 2sec tent!' plus lack of storage - need space for muddy wellies and light gear etc for festivals! ...you can probably gather its the last time I buy a popup! :)
let you know how i get on!
