Hi its me again,

Does anyone know if it is much cheaper to buy Canbanon tents in France? And / or do you know of any dealers in northern France around Calais or any dealers that would deliver to an address in France?

Thank you!

I'm sure there was a post on here recently about this...but not sure where. Think it said that they were more expensive in France than here. If I find post will add link

De Wit sell their own brand Guadeloupe and Barbados in Holland but made by Cabanon(?) to the same design but with a slightly heavier canvas.

http://www.de-wit.nl/winkel/showproduct.php?pID=180

€550 or ~ £480 including the attachable windshield. The site allows you to put GB as a delivery option so it looks like they deliver but the site is in Dutch.

Hope this helps

Thanks reforse

That price is good for the Guadeloupe I think, but I'm worried that it might just be a bit on the small side. Their Barbados is 995 euros which I think is about the same price as here isn't it? The Brittany looks absolutely fabulous and just has that little bit extra room, but at a price of course. Its difficult to figure out why its 1499 euros though. Do you think the Barbados is easy to put up for one person?

It is still one main central pole so it should be easy enough to put up.

At the De Wit price for the Guad though you could always get one each

In France cabanon is more expensive than in England.

When I was looking for a Cabanon Biscaya 370, the French and Dutch shops were asking 1500Euro, so I ended up buying one in the UK for £699, September 08. The 370 has recently been on offer this year, only a few weeks ago Forest Camping sold ten at £695 each, and that price even included the additional Sun-Canopy, and in the early part of the year Highbridge were selling the 370 for £795, if you do your home work there are new Cabanon bargains to be had, there was even a bunch of brand new Guadeloup's for sale on Ebay not so long back at around £400 a pop.
