I'm trying to find the dimensions for this tent. Can anyone help please? Looking at an extension/canopy but need to know the sizes and height. Thanks x

Go into tent reveiws on this site and find the indiana 8...if you have good eyesight you should be able to make out the dimensions on the little diagram....I managed to do the same thing for the indy 4 when I was buying a new airbed..... I have checked and it is on for the indy 8
It has the canopy on the front, and the universal canopy should fit the side (I did consider the sun valley side canopy as it's the same colour but not steel poles) If you go here it's quite a good price. The layout of the Indi is pretty much the same as the SV8 (2008) so carpet & footprint can also be bought for the indi....
You have a great tent there, Very solid in the wind!
The front canopy comes with the tent and zips on, the universal outwell side canopy will fit well on the side, i think the sunvalley canopy is not as tall as the universal one. a picture of ours
OOOh I like the look of your side canopy! I'd been thinking of getting one but couldn't see any pics. Emma's has something on the front of hers - the top of it looks like the canopy that comes with the tent but has sides right down to the bottom.
** Sorry - what I should have said is that on the tent pic thread, Emma had a different canopy on the front of hers and it looked great **

Hi, I made a side panel to go on each side of the canopy as I got sick of my cooker getting wet last year!!
Just made some ties to go down the poles and sewed on some hooks to get it under the canopy. Worked an absolute treat!! Help up to the wind and really helped when we went to dorset in the rain for a week!!
I also added some more mud flaps under the bedrooms, so that when it got windy it didnt get underneath. Was like having a sig, but a bit more work!!
I got some ripstop nylon from ebay, used about 6m of it.
The mud flaps I added were round the bottom of the bedroom part of the flysheet, I found that once all was set up, there was a considerable gap that needed filling. It seemed they put them around the whole main living part of the tent that the groundsheet covers, and left the bits where the bedrooms were. I bought some black waterproof fabric that I cut into long strips of about 25cm widths and stitched together in lengths to fill the gaps at the bottom then sewed onto the bottom of the flysheet. I used to peg these inside the tent, under the bedrooms, sealing the gap. Was very cosy.
I had such a great tent that I didnt want to replace it before really getting use from it, so we used it like this for about a year, and it all held up well. Helped with selling it too, as it then had features that meant people would be more comfortable in it!
