Topic: Weekend roomy 4 man needed. Ideas?

We love to pieces our Outwell Norfolk Lake but....it just takes a bit too long (or far to long as DH would say) to put up so we wouldnt use it for one and wd prefer not for just 2 nights. Ideally sub £300, which rules out Outwell Trout Lake (yes, I like my Lakes!)

So, Im quite keen on: Outwell Nevada M. Bit concerned that it still takes long time to put up though (will post another qu specifially).

Priorites,
1. Quick n easy to put up (less than one hour for one man)
2. Side by side sleeping for 4 (pref with zip to compartmentalise)
3. Jury still out on whether SIG or not - we are spoilt with our ZIG).
4. Standing height
5. Enough room fo rus all to sit in the rain.

What about a Vango Icarus?

And a really good way of saving time all round for a weekend camp, if that's what you're aiming for, is to take a lot less stuff. Packing it, setting it up, getting it all back into the car then into the house : it all eats time. And look for campsites closer to home so you save on travel time, and petrol.

Nevada M takes about 20 mins and is dead easy to erect... How much time do you want to save???

Its either Nevada M or Minnesota 4.....Im swaying towards the Minnesota.

My weekender is a Gelert Cadiz 5 Sleeps 4 comfortably. Easy to put up and down could easily do it yourself with practise. My daughter has a Vango 600 also quite roomy.

Khyam Cleveland, we can put it up in 30 mins now (inc guys), we leave the pod in too to save time. Various bedroom pod combinations. Plenty of room for 4/6 people to sit in (and lots of windows so even if you are inside you can see out). Built-in porch to keep rain off door. Very tall (235cm). We have the norfolk Lake and had the same issues - opted for the Nevada M as a weekender - can't fault it!!!

If you find you need more living room there is alwasys teh option of an extension but we haven't need it yet!

another vote for the vango icarus, 500, so easy to put up, large roomy living area and sleeps 4 in comfort. Cheaper than the Outwell too.
