HI all, does anyone know if there is an xtenstion/canopy that will fit the nevada 4, done a search but cant find one. Will a  universal one fit? any ideas much appreciated

Dont quote me on this but we were at Camping store in Frensham at weekend looking at displays and was told by very knowledgeable outwell sales bloke that there is no canopy/ extension to fit. It was a limited edition to mark...cant remember...100years or something (dont quote me!) which is why its on offer now and....there is no canopy/ extension to fit.

Whether that just means no 'official' canopy/extension I dont know.

If you find something to fit, that wd be great as we wd buy it and save quite a few pennies compared to Minny 5 we are looking at.

I have been doing some research and we are going to purchase the Hartford front extention as I think the sizes are very close, I know it might not be a perfect fit and might need a mod or two but I will post how we get on

Hi

I can't find the dimensions of the Nevada 4, but if it's any help, we use our Outwell Universal Canopy on the front of our Nevada 3 without any modifications. It works well, even though there is a gap. It keeps the rain off the door, and allows us somewhere to sit and store junk.

I imagine that the Nevada 4 is wider than the 3, so the gap should be less noticeable.

Hi,

we recently bought a Nevada 4 for our daughter and the granddaughters and got a Nevada 3 for ourselves. We now want a canopy. I notice you say you use the Outwell Universal canopy on your Nevada 3 and that it seems to work ok. Any further advice/help would be appreciated.

Hi, just back from week camping with nevada 4 and nevada m canopy, fitted perfectly providing ample room for my kitchen equipment, table & two chairs, solid in wind/rain tho only had a half day of that type of weather, highly recommend nev m canopy. will post a pic when i figure out how!

bought the Nevada M canopy for my Nevada 4 tent. Doesn't fit perfectly but works well and keeps the rain off the front door as well as giving loads more room for the cooker, table etc. Money well spent.

Hi, we have just bought the Vango Icarus 500 Sun Canopy - Laurel & Meadow - 2010.  It is a perfect fit for our Nevada 4 (no modifications required) and proved to be stable in a fairly stong wind.  It provided us with lots of extra space for our cooking equipment and 3 chairs.  It's also green in colour so it blends well with the main tent.
