I am looking to buy a large family tent, I not sure if I am going to big. We currently have a 2 room argos dome tent that is a 6man and to small now we have 2 children and sometimes we will camp with extra family members.

I have been to tent shows etc and the above are probably my preferred choices.

Can anyone recomend another tent that it is 9-12 man with 3-4 rooms preferably in which the rooms or annexe can be removed.

Also I have the SIG or non SIG issue, I never been soaked in a non sig before but I can see the benefits of a sig for warmth but I am worried as when I saw the sunncamp tunnel up it was very hot inside and the main air vents when open would probably let rain in which worries me a little.

the suncamp i like due to quality and flexibility but the space is a bit more restricted in the tunnel and the frame/dome of the skandika is great and woudl even allow me to park my kit car inside it! ( but then I probably could not fit the tent in the kit car!!)

Advice welcome, I have a few weeks before I need the new tent.

I also do not have a big garden to air the tent out when we return which may prove difficult.

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

I bought the Skandiak and it simple one on space and price.

Pitched it once for a night and found it quite easy to pitch.
