there was a post on here a couple of days ago about a blue canopy. Give me a min I'll have a look for it. Congrats on the new tent, what happened with the leaky Hi-Gear??
No good, just found it, they were talking about a side canopy. How about ebay, the blue may not be exactly the same shade but it will look fine and alot better than the sage.

I no longer have paypal after a huge cock up 2 years ago that took months to resolve! It put me off for life and I just refuse to ever have a pay pal account ever again! I now cant do ebay!
So is sage just a yukky colour in itself? Or would it just look awful with the laurel?(which incidently I am not that keen on but it was the ONLY colour at Go Outdoors)
Blue and smoke seem quite available but not many sages?
Pager - I will go and update my other thread about the leaky tent now - did it earlier but I pressed the wrong button and lost it!!
Thanks for replyin so quickly BTW!

Our Carrera 600 is sage and it's really quite a light colour. We don't have an extension but we do have the Vango 6 pole windbreak which is sage and laurel. We think they look OK together:

Glad to help. We thought the sage colour for the tent was very light - much lighter than we'd expected. Once we got the tent up we decided that was a good thing as, whilst it didn't look old or faded, it also didn't look brand new!!!

Have you pitched the Orchy yet, the reason I ask is that I take it that you got it from Go in Oxford as its your local store ? Just that the Orchy's from Go, as are all others we have seen, are both Sage & Laurel in colour not just one or the other. The polycotton Orchy which I cant remember the name of just now is a single colour which is close to Laurel as in the Carrera pics but Go dont do this tent. We have an Orchy 600 from Go in Oxford and like the one on display it is duel coloured.
We have the open fronted large canopy for ours which is just Sage in colour and that works fine and blends in with the tent perfectly.

i think mixing and matching colours is actually cool - makes your tent unique (and fun). We just ordered the Orchy 600 in smoke/black and will be getting an extension at the end of the season (hoping for some sales) but are planning to get the sage extension INSTEAD of the smoke/black just to stand out. LOL
