hi we have vango icarus 500 the tent is great apart from it gets wet when it rains because the front door as no shelter, we are thinking of getting a extension but dont no how well they fit to the tent .be grateful if anybody can help us decide if it is worth getting one

The front canopy fits really well and imo,yes its worth getting one.

How much is the canopy do you mind me asking, i went to go outdoors today and really loved the icarus debating whether to go get it on saturday.

we bought a canopy for the icarus for £37 on e-bay, well worth it

Yep we also got a canopy on ebay for £29 + postage. It really increases yr tent space and although not stricktly weather resistant it does provide good shelter from light rain and of course the sun (its not called a sun canopy for nothing).  If you get one at the above price from enay (there are loads on threre) you cant go wrong.

The Vango canopies are good and you can get one with a door on the front also. They come in 2 sizes standard and large, the large has the door option. We have an Orchy 600 which we use ours on and it changes the tent completely. Money well spent I would say.
